If you get 100% CPU usage because of DismHost.exe, you have to remove the DismHost.exe from your system instantaneously. To remove DismHost.exe from your system, you have to follow the below-mentioned steps:

  • First of all, launch the “Control Panel” on your system and press on the “Uninstall a program” option.
  • Search the annoying or unwanted program, press on it, and then hit on the “Uninstall” tab.
  • It will uninstall the DismHost.exe, and disk/CPU usage must be returned to normal.
  • Then, launch the C:/Program Files, and search the “DISM host servicing process” folder. If it is not present, it means DismHost.exe is deleted successfully.
  • After that, check the archive at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE to view whether the DISM Host Servicing Process exists under “SOFTWARE.” If it is there, you have to delete it again.
