The iPhone 13 Pro will be your best option if you’re looking to upgrade to Apple Pro. For $999, the 128GB model is available. You can also get double the storage by paying an additional $100. You can get a 512GB model for $1,299 and a Terabyte of storage for $1,499.

The iPhone 13 Max is at the top of the line, and it starts at $1,099, for the 128GB model. You can double the storage, but it will cost you $100 more. You’ll need to spend $1,399 for 512GB storage. A terabyte will cost you $1,599.

The 128GB iPhone 13 will be a good choice for people who keep most of their content on the cloud. A 256GB iPhone is best for people who take a lot of photos and videos.

iPhone 13 Size: Mini-to-Max

Apple’s iPhone 13 range has an option for every size. The iPhone 13 mini is for you if you prefer small phones. It measures 5.18 by 2.53 by 0.30 inches and weighs 4.97 ounces.

Next are the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro. Both phones measure 5.78 inches by 2.82 inches by 0.30 inches. The iPhone 13 weighs 6.14 ounces and is lighter due to its aluminum chassis. Due to its stainless steel rails, the iPhone 13 Pro weighs 7.19 ounces.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max is one of the largest and most bulky models. It measures 6.33 by 3.07 by 0.30 inches and weighs 8.46 pounds.

Although size is subjective, we believe the iPhone 13 is the best phone for most people. The iPhone 13 Pro is the best option for creative professionals.

iPhone 13 Display: Turn It Up to 120Hz

The new iPhone 13 lineup has the same size displays as its predecessors but that’s about it. The Pro model has a larger notch and is brighter than the other models. However, you will get some additional benefits if you go for one of these models.

The iPhone 13 mini is smaller than the rest, with a 5.4 inch, 2,340-by-1.080 OLED display. The iPhone 13 features a 6.1 inch, 2,532-by-1.170 OLED display. Both models offer 800 nits maximum brightness, and 1,200 lumens maximum brightness for HDR content.

The iPhone 13 Pro’s screen is approximately the same size as that of the iPhone 13 Plus, but it has Apple’s ProMotion technology. The proMotion has a variable refresh rate, which dynamically adjusts between 10Hz to 120Hz. The iPhone 13 Pro’s display can reach 1,000 nits and HDR content reaches 1,200 nits.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max’s massive 6.7-inch OLED display measures 2,778 by-1,284 and is great for streaming video and gaming. It is just as bright and as powerful as the iPhone 13 Pro, with ProMotion.

The iPhone 13 is more than capable for people who stream video or perform basic tasks. For gamers and creative professionals, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will be a worthwhile investment.

iPhone 13 Cameras: Are You Ready to Go Pro with Your iPhone?

Apple releases major updates every year to its camera software and hardware. Although all four iPhone models are capable of creating some of the most stunning photos on a smartphone there are major differences between Pro and regular models.

The iPhone 13 models have the same sensor-shift stabilization technology as the iPhone 12 Pro models. Sensor-shift stabilization moves the camera sensors physically to remove vibrations from photos that blur or distort. All lenses have night mode.

The 12MP primary lens has an f/1.6 aperture and is optimized for low-light photography. The f/2.4 aperture is available on the 12MP ultrawide lens. Apple also updated its ISP and computational photography software to deliver the best iPhone images.

The cameras of the iPhone 13 Pro models this year are identical. The rear module features a 12MP primary lens, with an aperture of f/1.5, large 1.9-micron pixels, and macro capability. The 12MP telephoto lens has an aperture of f/2.8 and a focal length of 12MP. For improved low-light performance, the ultrawide 12MP lens features a large aperture of f/1.8. A LiDAR scanner is available for Night Mode portraits or AR experiences.

Both models are capable of 3x optical zoom in, 2.5x optical zoom out, 15x zoom, and Apple Pro Raw. ProRes Video will be available later in the year.

For smartphone photographers who are looking to save some money, the iPhone 13 Pro is your best choice. The iPhone 13 Pro is the best choice for those who rely on Auto mode and take photos solely for social media.

Battery Life for iPhone 13

The iPhone 13 models all have bigger batteries, so you should be able to last a whole day of moderate usage.

The iPhone 13 Mini comes with a 2,406mAh lithium battery. Although it is a significant improvement on the iPhone 13 mini’s 2,227mAh battery, it is still quite small. Apple claims that its new entry-level flagship should give you an extra hour and a quarter of battery life.

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro both have 3,095mAh batteries. This is a significant improvement over the 2,815mAh batteries on the iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro. However, it’s still a huge difference. Apple claims that the iPhone 13 Pro will give you 2.5 hours more battery life, but the iPhone 13 Pro only offers 1.5 hours.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max has a huge 4,352mAh battery, compared to the 3,687mAh found on the previous year’s model. You should get 2.5 hours more juice every day.

We think that all Apple’s new flagships will be able to get you through your day, with the exception of the iPhone 13 mini. The battery drain profiles of the iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max are similar.

Verdict

Which iPhone 13 should you buy? You can make that decision, but the majority of people will be happy with the iPhone 13. The iPhone 13 is a good value for money, with a great combination of power, features, and battery life. Gamers will be more inclined to choose the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which has a faster GPU and large display with ProMotion. The iPhone 13 Pro Max is our recommendation for creative professionals. We’ll test them for final reviews, so keep an eye out for those in the coming weeks.
